Product Details

You can get information on your products by clicking on the Product ID link in Add Products To Booking. The product information is from the Product Management Centre (PMC) if you have access, or from entering the information manually if you do not have access.

To access Product Details:

1    Click Create Bookings from the left navigation panel or click Find Bookings and search for the booking you want to modify.

2    Click . Then click Products, which is under Create Bookings on the left navigation panel.

3    Click on the Product ID in the list you want to view product details.  If you do not have any products in the list, see how to Add Products.

4   Make sure to click Save Details at the bottom of the page after editing the information.

Descriptions

This section displays product descriptions, basic product information, and package data for the product. Click on Description on the Product Detail page to expand this section.

The information in the Description screen is not editable.

Standard Package Information

This section gives information on standard package. Click on Standard Package Information on the Product Detail page to expand this section.

Clicking on Change Package Code will display a pop-up window with a list of all standard packages available for the product. You can select any standard package from the list by clicking on it.  The information will be populated in the section.

Export Product Information

This section explains all export information of the product. Click on Export Product Information on the Product Detail page to expand this section.

1    Select the country under Classification Authority. The fields will be activated or disabled depending on the country selected.

2    If the Export Product Information is taken from the PMC, you can edit all fields except for the Export HS Code, the Licence Unit of Measure, and the Customs Description.

3    You can edit the data by clicking Export Control.  A pop-up window with the Export Control will appear. To save the changes, click Submit.

Import Product Information

This section explains all import information of the product. Click on Import Product Information on the Product Detail page to expand this section.

1    Select the country under Classification Authority. The fields will be activated or disabled depending on the country selected.

2    If the Import Product Information is taken from the PMC, the above fields will not be editable.

3    You can edit the data by clicking Import Control.  A pop-up window with the Import Control will appear. To save the changes, click Submit.

References

This section allows you to enter any references of the product. Click on References on the Product Detail page to expand this section.

NAFTA

Click on NAFTA on the Product Detail page to expand this section. The NAFTA section only applies and will automatically populate if both origin and destination country are:

• United States

• Canada

• Mexico

Duty Reduction Program

Click on Duty Reduction Program to expand this section.  The Duty Reduction Program section will automatically populate from the product record of the Product Management Centre. You can update the Preference Criteria Code if needed. The Duty Reduction Program is currently only applicable for USMCA, T-Mec, and Cusma.
