exp.o Booking August 2014 What's New

Enhancements for exp.o Booking were released August 14, 2014.  Read below for details about the enhancements.

Ocean Booking Enhancements

The Ocean Booking has been revised to be easier and faster to create.

Parties

The Parties section has been condensed and streamlined so you can see all of them at once. Click the company name to view the details. Any email addresses for the roles will all be put in the Email booking details to box.

Shipment Information

Fields needed for the shipment delivery has been grouped into this section. Click the Add Carrier/Vessel link to expand and view additional fields.

Terms and Charges

The Insurance section has been removed and Letter of Credit is now an optional field where you can enter the number.

Pickup Information

Has been simplified to only fields needed for pickup.

Freight Details

Temperature Controlled field has been added. The Solid Wood Packing Materials field no longer requires a check box for IPSM#15. If you have multiple freight detail lines, you must specify DIMS or Volume but not both for each line.

References

References are no longer specified to be Consignee or Shipper. The primary reference will be the reference at the top of the list. You can click and drag the references to re-order them.

Documents Add to Booking

You can add a document, which will create the document in the exp.o Booking, or attach a document from your computer. The Add Items/Parts section has been moved from the Freight Details into this section. You can only create labels after a booking has been submitted.
