About the SMC Home Page

The Shipment Management Centre (SMC) Home page links to various screens in the SMC application and allows you to quickly perform these functions: Create New Booking, Quick Search, and Saved Searches.

These functions are also available from the left naviglation panel and in the Detail-view. They are described in detail in their respective topics.

Tradeflow Home, Logout, Help

The Tradeflow Home button is located in the upper left corner of the application's screen, the Logout, and Help buttons are located in the upper right corner of the application's screen.

Tradeflow Icon Home Button - Click the Tradeflow icon button to go back to the Tradeflow home page. You can access the other Centres from this page.

Logout Button - Click the Logout button to end your Tradeflow session.  

Help Button - Click the Help button to open the Shipment Management Centre Help in a separate window.

Create New Booking

The Create New Booking section allows you to create a booking using a template. Select the template from the drop-down list and click Create.  See Create New Booking and Templates for more information.

Quick Search

The Quick Search function allows you to quickly search for the existing bookings based on Booking Reference Number, Booking Control Number, or Booking Receipt Number. The resultant page Find Bookings displays selected records in the List-view. See Find Bookings for more information.

Enter a Booking Number and click Track to track the booking.  See Track Bookings for more information.

 Saved Searches

In the middle of the SMC Home Page, there are three columns: Default Searches, My Searches, and Shared Searches.  Under each column is a list of saved searches.  To run the search, click the name of the search.  To view the search field criteria, click Edit.
