Create/Modify Notify Lists

The Notify List page allows you to create lists of contacts and the documents to send them. The contacts and document information from these lists populates the Notifications page, thus eliminating the need to re-enter the information.

 

To create and edit Notify Lists:

 

1    Click Maintenance from the left navigation panel.

 

2    Click Notify Lists.

 

3    To create a new Notify List, type in the name in the Create new list field and click Create. To edit, click the icon under View or Edit List column; the Manage Notify Lists page appears.

A list of the fields and columns that appear in the Manage Notify List page:

Field/Column

Description

Add contacts from a saved Notify List Select an existing Notify List from the drop-down list to add the contacts and associated documents to the current notify list.
Add Contacts from a Trade Partner Enter the Trade Partner ID and click Get Contact to populate the contacts and associated documents of that Trade Partner in the current notify list. See Get Trade Partner Contacts for more information.
Contact Enter the first name and last name of the contact. This is a required field.
Documents to Send Click on the Document icon Document icon to access the Select Documents pop-up and choose the check box next to the documents to associate to the contact. See Common Icons for more information.
*Email Enter in the email address of the contact. This is a required field.
Language Select the preferred language for contact from the drop-down list.
Paper Size Select the preferred paper size from the drop-down list.
Remove Remove a contact from the current notify list by selecting the check box next to their name and clicking Remove.
Save to > Select an existing Notify List from the drop-down list. Click Save to > to update the existing Notify List with the contacts and associated documents.

Select the check box. Enter a Notify List name and click Save to save the Notify List.

Add

To add more rows, select 5 or 10 from the drop-down list and click Add.
