Real Time Inventory

The Real Time Inventory report is an item-level view of the your inventory at an Expeditors' Distribution Center. It shows the quantity of on hand, committed, requested/not committed, unavailable, and expected inbound inventory.

1 From the home page, click Real Time Inventory under Distribution in the Reports section.

SKU No.: Input a specific SKU No. or a partial SKU with a Wildcard (*) to search for SKUs containing those numbers; for example, 12*, *04. To search for multiple SKUs, separate each SKU by a comma and no space. Enter a single asterisk as a wildcard search to view all SKUs for that client.

Suppress SKUs with No Activity: Select Yes if you do not want to see SKUs that have no activity associated to them. For example, no on-hand inventory, no expected inventory, or no pending orders.

Select No to view all SKUs regardless of inventory levels.

ABC Classification (Optional): Input a specific classification for a SKU that determines how quickly that product is moving (fast mover = a, medium mover = b, slow mover = c).

ASN No. (Optional): Input the unique EDI generated ASN number for a receipt or a shipment. This is very specific and will return only items on one receipt or shipment.

Buyer Code (Optional): Input a specific Buyer Code to only return items that have a specific buyer.

Condition (Optional): Choose a condition from the drop-down list to only return items that are in a certain condition.

Click to view a list of possible conditions:

Conveyance No. (Optional): Input the conveyance number. An example would be to enter the container number or the master airway bill.

DC No. (Optional): Input the distribution center number for the items you are searching for. For instance, it could be a number such as 1234 or a alphanumeric number such as WH23A.

Department No. (Optional): Input a Department number. Example: Accounting - 01, Information Services - 04, Employee Relations - 02.

Lot No. (Optional): Input a lot number associated with the item or items you want returned. This will give a subset of an item. Only the item or items with this lot number will be returned.

Port of Origin (Optional): Input the port of origin. An example would be PDX if Portland is the origin. Only items from this port will be returned.

Receipt No. (Optional): Input a receipt number (customer PO number to Expeditors). This will return only items with this receipt (PO) number.

Receipt PO (Optional): Search for shipments will the exact purchase order number the client gave to Expeditors that has receipts of inventory against a particular PO number. Receipt PO numbers have a length restriction of 16 characters.

Vendor Codes (Optional): Input a vendor code to return all items from that vendor.

Vendor Part No. (Optional): Input a vendor part number to return all items with that number.

4 Enter a name for the report in the Report Name field. Click Save and Search to start the report. You cannot run the report without saving. By saving the report, you can access it in the future from the Reports Customized section.

To see the levels current set for a SKU, click on a light in the Min/Max Status.

To see the receipt visibility details associated with the quantity, click on the Expected Inbound number.

To run a Work Order search, click the Committed or Requested Not Committed numbers.

Yellow light indicates inventory levels are at or below the Re-Order Point, but above the minimum level.

Green light indicates inventory levels are above the Re-Order Point, but below the Maximum.
