The Equipment and Packages section in the create new booking page allows you to indicate the minimum information required on the equipment (containers, trailers) and packages to carry the shipment. See Equipment and Packages for more information.

To modify Equipment and Packages section details:
1 Click Create Bookings from the left navigation panel or click Find Bookings and search for the booking you want to modify.
2 Scroll down to the Equipment and Packages section. When you are finished with the section, select the check box at the bottom of the page to indicate that the Equipment and Packages section is complete. This displays a tick mark against the Equipment and Packages link in the left navigation panel.

A list of the fields that appear in the Equipment and Packages section:

| *Packages | Select from the
Packages type in the drop-down
list. Depending on the options selected for the
Transport Mode and Load Type in the Transportation
Section, the values for the respective types are listed
in the drop-down list. This is a required field.
Note: If the Transport Mode and Load Type are selected as Ground and Full Trailer Load respectively, this field will be labeled *Equipment and there will be two rows in this section. |
| *Quantity | Quantity of the Equipment/Trailer/Packages. This is a required field. |
| *Total Weight | Weight of the total
shipment is by default in Pounds (LB). Go to the Units and Measures
section to change the weight type.
This is a required field. |
Length, Width, Height |
The default for these measurements is in Feet (FT). Go to the Units and Measures section to change the weight type. |
Total Volume |
Volume of the total shipment is by default in Cubic feet (CFT). Go to the Units and Measures section to change the volume type. |
