The Equipment and Packages section under the Details and Documents section is split into Equipment Summary and Package Summary.

Page OutlineTo access Equipment and Packages:
1 Click Create Bookings from the left navigation panel or click Find Bookings and search for the booking you want to modify.
2 Click
.
Then click Equipment and Packages,
which is under Create Bookings on
the left navigation panel. When you are finished, select the check
box at the bottom of the page to indicate that the
Equipment and Packages section is complete. This displays
a tick mark against the Equipment and Packages link in the left
navigation panel.

The Equipment Summary
section is enabled only if the Transport
Mode is selected to be Ocean or Ground and the Load
Type is for Full Container Load or Full Trailer Load in
the Transportation Section.
The Equipment Summary section records container or trailer information
for the booking. It includes number of containers or detailed
container information. When the products or packages have been
added to the booking, they can be packed in or associated to the
containers in the Packing Summary
page.

Note: Equipment can be defined as Containers or Trailers or both. |

To modify the equipment:
1 Select the Equipment Type from the drop-down list.
2 Enter the quantity in Equipment Quantity text field.
3 Click Add to Booking. The data will be populated in the Equipment Summary grid.
4 Enter the data for each type of equipment in the grid. Click Remove to remove any entered data.
5 Clicking Packing Summary will populate the data entered and show the Packing Summary page.
6 Click Save to save the entered data.
A list of the fields and columns that appear in the Equipment Summary section:

*Equipment Type |
The container/trailer types of the equipment. The values in the drop-down list are based upon the Transport Mode selected. For Ocean, container values are listed and for Ground, trailers are listed. This is a required field. |
*Equipment Quantity |
The number of containers/trailers to be added to the booking. This is a required field. |
Equipment Number |
Equipment number for identification. |
Seal Number |
Seal number for identification. |
Weight |
Weight of the equipment. |
Volume |
Volume of the equipment. |
Carrier Booking Number |
Unique number to identify the booking. |
This section records package information for the booking. Packages are objects designed to hold packing units, such as air cargo ULDs, barrels, skids, cartons, boxes, GOH bars, etc.

A list of the fields and columns that appear in the Package Summary section:

| Package Set ID | The Package Set Identification number. |
*Number of Packages |
Number of Packages. This is a required field. |
Package Weight |
The weight of the package. |
*Total Weight |
The total weight. If the Number of Packages and Package Weight are filled in, the system will calculate the Total Weight automatically. |
Package Dimensions: Length, Width, Height |
The dimensions of the package in terms of length, width and height. |
Volume |
Total volume of the package. If all Package Dimensions are filled in, system uses the dimensions and number of packages to calculate the net volume. |
*Dangerous Goods |
Identifies if the product is a Dangerous Good or not. This is a required field. |
Copy Row |
Click

Remove |
Select the check box next to the package and click Remove to remove it. |
Add |
To add more rows, select 5 from the drop-down list and click Add. |
Packing Summary |
Shows the Packing Summary populated with the data entered. See Packing Summary for more information. |
Save |
Saves the data. |
Reset |
Clears the fields but stays on the same page. |
Booking Actions |
Clicking this will expand to reveal the Booking Action buttons, which allow you to save the booking in various statuses. See Booking Actions for more information. |

To modify the packages:
1 Enter the data in the Packages Summary Section grid. The Total Weight and Volume will be calculated automatically.
2 Clicking Packing Summary will populate the data entered and show the Packing Summary page.
3 Click Save to save the entered data.
