Adjustments

Tradeflow can store adjustments for the U.S., Canada and EU (either loaded as an EU product, or as a specific country that is a member of the European Union). |
Adjustments are situations where the price of the goods being imported need to be increased or decreased based on certain factors. An example is an Assist, where the importer provides the manufacturer of the goods some kind of input to the manufacturing process, whether it’s tangible (e.g., materials) or intangible (e.g., designs). The assist amount will increase the value declared to the import customs authority, thus affecting the total dutiable value.
Tradeflow will be able to support zero to many Adjustments in one product record. For a Set or Choice, Tradeflow will only support Adjustments on component records (Product or Non-Product Components). It will not allow Adjustments on header records.
1 Click the Has Adjustments check box and click Manage.

2 The Adjustments page will appear. Select the adjustment Type, whether it Add/Deduct from the price and if it is Dutiable. The rest of the fields are optional.

3 Fill out the rest of the adjustment as needed. Click Save.

4 If you need to add more adjustments, click New Adjustment in the bottom left corner to add additional adjustments.
5 For users with View Only access, adjustments will appear in a table.

You can use the Mass Update Function to upload several Adjustments. Use a Super CSV.
The row ID for Adjustment Information is AG.
Add field ID 117 "Has Adjustments" flag "Y" in the Product row (A) before introducing the adjustment information in the upload file.
