There are several ways to add, update, and validate the Preference Criteria information in Tradeflow.
On the Product Information Page 1 Open the product you want to add or update the Preference Criteria on. The Preference Criteria Code field will be available when the Duty Reduction Program Reference has been added.
Enter the code, you can use the Lookup icon () to find the preference criteria code you are looking for.
2 The Preference Criteria Description will automatically populate when a valid preference criteria code is entered. If an invalid preference criteria code is added, UNKNOWN will be shown.
Using mass update allows you to add or update the same Preference Criteria Code for multiple products at the same time.
1 Create a search in Find Product that brings up a list of the products you want to update. Click Configure Search Fields to expand the section and add the Preference Criteria Code. See Search Feature - Configure Search Fields for more information.
2 Run the search and when you have the search results of products you want to update, click Mass Update.
3 The Mass Update page appears. Select the check box next to the Preference Criteria Code field to enable it. Enter the value you want to update (for example, "A"), and then click Modify. Once the update is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.
You can update a product directly by uploading it. In the upload file, make sure to include the following fields:
