About the TRC Home Page

The Trade Reference Centre (TRC) Home page explains the contents of the left navigation panel.

Click the links in the left navigation panel to access the tools.

Tradeflow Home, Logout, Help

The Tradeflow Home button is located in the upper left corner of the application's screen, the Logout, and Help buttons are located in the upper right corner of the application's screen.

Tradeflow Icon Home Button - Click the Tradeflow icon button to go back to the Tradeflow home page. You can access the other Centres from this page.

Logout Button - Click the Logout button to end your Tradeflow session.  

Help Button - Click the Help button to open the Trade Reference Centre Help in a separate window.

 Landed Cost Calculator

Calculates import duties, taxes, and government charges based on the Customs value for any product imported into a country. The landed cost can be based on the applicable preferential rate(s) or the default rate. A warning message will appear if anti-dumping duties or countervailing duties may apply for a given commodity. Duty & Tax Quote can be used to retrieve only duty and tax rates.

 Regulatory Controls

Identifies potential barriers to trade including import or export license or permit requirements, quotas, anti-dumping or countervailing duties, and embargoes. Restricted Party Screening screens parties against the list of denied parties (names of persons, companies, and organizations) that have been identified by government or international authorities as unacceptable trade partners. Current import or export embargoes in effect are also identified.

Product Classification

Provides several search methods to determine the import or export classification number for any product. It also enables the mapping of HS codes from one country to another.

Contains conversion tools and references including:

• Link to the list of HS Codes that are invalid for use for export purposes in the U.S.

Document Forms Library

The Document Forms Library allows you to search through a database of editable document forms that you can email or attach to a booking.

Audit Trail

Only the Organization Administrators of an organization can access transaction reports for any Trade Reference executed by their company. See Audit Trail for more information.
