This topic explains usage of buttons that are common across the application. Buttons that are specific to particular pages are explained in subsequent topics.

 

Button

Description

Add Button Appears in Create Booking Navigation Symbol Details and Documents section. Click this to add new records. Also appears when adding more rows.
Apply Button Appears in the Detail-view. Click this to validate the Trade Partner name or ID entered in the field. If validated, it populates the Trade Partner address data. See Assign Trade Partner Data for more information.
Booking Actions Button Appears in all Details & Documents pages under Create Booking (Addresses, References, Products, etc.). Click this to display the action buttons related to bookings. For example: Save Template Only, Save as Draft, etc. See Booking Actions for more information.
Cancel Button Click this to cancel current operation and return to the previous page.
Clear All Button Appears in the List-view. Click this to clear user-entered data on a page. The system clears the data and refreshes the page to display the default page.

Close Button

Appears in the Search Fields screen and pop-up windows. Use this button to close sections or pop-up windows. See View Booking Details for more information.

Create Button

Appears in the SMC Home Page and Create Bookings page. Click this to add/create a booking.

Delete Button Appears in Detail-view. Select a record and click this to delete.

Details and Documents button

Appears in Create Bookings page. Click this to expand the left navigation panel.  See About Details and Documents Page for more information.

Edit List Button

Appears in the List-view and the Home page. Click this to view the existing list of bookings. You can copy values from listed bookings to the booking you are adding/editing by using the standard Windows Copy & Paste feature. Also appears in Search, clicking this will take you to the Configure Searches page.

Extract Button Appears in the List-view. Click this to extract records from Tradeflow in standard output formats (.CSV, .XML). See Extract Booking Data for more information.
Get Contact Button Appears in the Detail-view. Click this to populate the Name and the Email ID of the contact person. See Get Trade Partner Contacts for more information.
History Button Appears in the Detail-view. Click this to view the history of changes made to the booking. See View Booking History for more information.

Lock Button

Appears in when editing a document. Click this to lock the document and prevent changes.  See View and Edit Documents for more information.

Remove Button

Appears in Create New Booking, Addresses, Terms and Insurance, Packing Summary, and Notifications screen. Click this to remove the selected item.

Reset Button Appears in the Detail-view. Click this to reset the changes made to the record and remain in the Detail-view.
Save Button Appears in the Detail-view. Click this to save the entries made in a screen and remain in the Detail-View.

Save and Close Button

Appears in the Detail-view. Click this to save the entries and return to the previous screen.

Search Button

Appears in the Home page, Search page, and Detail-view. Click this to perform a search. See Find Bookings for more information.

Track Button The Track button appears in the Home page and Detail-view. Click this to track a particular booking.

Unlock Button

Appears in when editing a document. Click this to unlock the document and allow changes.  See View and Edit Documents for more information.

View Button Appears in the List-view. Shows only the booking details. See View Booking Details for more information.

Also appears when editing a document; shows the document in a PDF format.
